I am incredibly grateful to work in a department that values public science outreach. Through the Naturalists Outreach Practicum, Extension and Outreach Assistantships, Insectapalooza and many other programs I have had the opportunity to devote over 700 hours to outreach across 35 venues reaching a total audience of more than 5,000.
